Viticulture is fastest growing agricultural sector in UK

According to a report by WineGB, the British wine sector has increased “the total land under vine” by 74% since 2017.

The sector produced 5.3 million bottles that year, compared with 12.2 million bottles in 2022. WineGB members have predicted that 25 to 29 million bottles will be produced annually by 2032.
