European Union: Alcohol prices rose by 9.8% over past year

Although the consumer price index for countries using the euro currency remained unchanged at 5.3%, alcohol, food, and tobacco prices rose by 9.8% during the past year, according to data issued by Eurostat on 31 August 2023.
