The Irish Cabinet has reportedly agreed to introduce minimum unit pricing on alcohol beverages effective on 01 January 2022, putting the price of alcohol beverages at a minimum of 10c per gram.
Northern Ireland’s Health Minister reportedly said the measure will not take effect in Northern Ireland until at least 2023, but Ireland’s deputy head of the government suggested they will now be pressuring Northern Ireland to follow suit.
